Honoring a Tradition of Excellence

Graduate-Professional Student Appreciation Week has been celebrated nationally since 1993, thanks to the efforts of student advocates Tony Rosati (Georgetown University), Gina Pearson (American University) and Anne Holt (Florida State University). Their initiative established an annual tradition to recognize the vital contributions of graduate and professional students nationwide. Today, universities across the country continue to participate in this meaningful celebration each April.
