Eloise Andrle
Sports Performance Training / Human Movement Science
Eloise Andrle has been working as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for the past three years after graduating with a bachelor’s degree. As a college freshman, she discovered a passion for helping individuals stay active and fit through her own participation in student recreational fitness classes. Anderle changed her major, and hasn’t looked back since.
Now a student in Concordia University Chicago’s Master of Applied Exercise Science program, Andrle is pursuing a dual concentration in Sports Performance Training & Human Movement Science while developing her strength and conditioning business where she interviews, assesses, and designs training programs for individuals through a virtual, internet-based application.
On top of that, Andrle continues to train as a competitive Olympic weightlifter.
“Before I chose Concordia University Chicago, I was looking all over the country. I really value having experience, so being able to apply my knowledge while getting the degree was a big factor. This program allowed me to have the flexibility to get an education while continuing my own training and career.” Andrle said.
After earning her Master’s, Eloise plans to continue growing her expertise and pursue a doctorate degree so she can eventually teach others to provide science-based strength and conditioning programs while continuing to grow her own business.
When asked what advice she would give students considering Concordia University Chicago’s Applied Exercise Science programs, Andrle said, “Go for it! The CUC program is unique in its application approach allowing students to gain the hands-on experience they can use right away.”
