#MakeNowMatter Video Contest: Terms and Conditions
The promoter is RelearnIt, whose registered office is at 209 Rue St. Louis, Florissant, MO 63031.
The competition is open to residents of the United States aged 18 years or over except employees of RelearnIt, Concordia University Chicago, their close relatives, or judges of the competition.
There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his or her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Closing date for entry will be midnight on Thursday, April 30. After this date the no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:
– Create one or more videos of yourself, up to three minutes in length, and post them to your own social media accounts.
– Videos must explain a way in which you are adding meaning to your life or recommendations of how others can “make now matter” during the COVID-19 pandemic. These should be derived from what you have learned through your applied exercise science education program at Concordia University Chicago.
– To submit your video(s), post them to one or more of your social media accounts and fill out an entry form on our website.
– When uploading the video(s) to Facebook or Instagram, tag the posts with @cucexercisescience (Exercise Science at Concordia University Chicago) and #MakeNowMatter. On all other platforms, tag videos with #CUCExerciseScience and #MakeNowMatter.
– Fill out the entry form at https://exsci.cuchicago.edu/make-now-matter-video-contest.
The promoter may request a copy of the contestant’s video be uploaded to its Google Drive, Drop Box, or SharePoint account. Failure to provide a copy of the video disqualifies the contestant.
The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
An evaluation committee will select eleven (11) winners among the videos presented, consisting of one grand prize winner and ten runners up.
The grand prize winner will receive one of the following:
– a $500 gift card, or
– a payment of $500 toward the certification exam of their choice, or
– a donation of $500 in protective face masks to the healthcare system of their choice, from Bespoke Apparel of St. Louis, MO.
Ten additional contestants will each receive a $50 gift card.
The prizes are as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
Winners will be chosen by Thursday, May 7, 2020, from all entries received and verified by Promoter and or its agents, as designated by a panel of judges appointed by the Promoter.
The winner will be notified by email and/or DM on Facebook and/or letter within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected.
The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by U.S. law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the St. Louis, Missouri, United States of America.
The winners agree to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current U.S. data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
The winner’s name will be available seven (7) days after closing date by emailing the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
RelearnIt shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
RelearnIt also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
