Dr. McBride is an adjunct instructor in the doctoral program of Health and Human Performance at Concordia University, Chicago. He is also a Professor in Biomechanics at Appalachian State University in the Department of Health & Exercise Science and the Director of the Neuromuscular & Biomechanics Laboratory. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Jyvaskyla in Finland with Dr. Paavo Komi and he received his PhD in Human Movement from Southern Cross University in Australia. His research interests are the stretch-shortening cycle and muscle power.
