James J. Tufano, PhD, CSCS*D

Dr. Tufano is an Assistant Professor of Health and Human Performance. He received his Ph.D. from Edith Cowan University, his MS from California State University Fullerton, and his BS from the University of Houston Clear Lake. In addition to teaching cardiovascular, neuromuscular, and exercise physiology classes, he has previously taught classes in academic writing and critical thinking. Although he would largely be classified as a researcher who focuses on practical strength and conditioning topics, he enjoys supervising motivated research students who are truly interested in the scientific process and who want to improve their critical thinking skills, regardless of their exact research interests.
