Dr. Amodeo’s educational background is in public health, specifically in health policy. During her master’s program, she studied abroad at World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland where she found her passion for health policy. She went on to earn her Ph.D. from the University of Alabama and currently works in regulatory affairs in Washington D.C. She has 14 years of experience in the health care field, spanning academia, clinical settings, the health insurance market, research, and health policy. Dr. Amodeo’s research has included firefighters, physical activity, heart disease, and health behavior theory. When she’s not doing the whole professional bid she spends her time power-lifting competitively, hiking, camping, and cycling.
