Graduate degree holders starting new jobs at higher rates than all other Americans, survey shows
Researchers expected any kind of higher education to boost job prospects for Americans recently out of work. But they found those with graduate degrees are doing better than other degree holders.
According to Exercise Science at Concordia-Chicago master’s student, Allie Melton, who is an athletic trainer at Northwest High School in Cedar Hill, MO:

“I chose to emphasize in Sports Nutrition because I feel as though nutrition is an overlooked topic in performance and want to educate young student-athletes on the importance of proper nutrition! For my capstone I decided to pursue the ACE Health Coach certification to enhance my abilities to provide a holistic approach to healthcare beyond the athletic population. Once my degree is completed, I am moving to California and looking for a high school athletic training position.⠀
